Well the student buses are running but I wonder if anyone will be on them:
StagAlert
Basketball doubleheader tonight @ the Arena! Women v Rider and Men v Quinnipiac. Shuttles from Alumni Hall from 5:30-8:45 p.m. Games are on ESPN3. WEAR RED!
I think we match up well with Qu. Would not be surprised by a Stags victory.
Go Stags.
I'm not sure we match up well with anybody but Lauralton Hall , but I hope you are right NH. We got killed in two areas in Hamden, first, foul differential and secondly rebounding. We have seen some improvement from Fairfield in both areas as the season progresses. Getting swept by QU would be another embarrassment in an embarrassing season so I hope that doesn't happen and we find a way to win.
Harford Courant had a feature on Q-pac center Ousmane Drame. The call him one of the top Post Players in the country. Drame, 6 feet 9 and 235 pounds, is averaging 12.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and a team-high 2.6 blocks. Certainly a difference maker on both ends of the court. He was also recruited by CentralCT, Robert Morris and BostonU. He would have been nice in a Stag uniform.
This game is all about rebounding. And while we are 4th in the MAAC in rebounding differential with a +.06..... Quinnipiac is one of the best in the country with a +12. And to be that good as a rebounding team, its not just one player for them. We have to be a strong Team Rebounding team. However, I do feel that we need Coleman Johnson to stay out of foul trouble and be the palyer he was in December.

JS, your link didn't lead to the article directly but using the advanced search, here's the first sentence of an article they had about Drame from 2-11-14 --- The emergence of Quinnipiac junior Ousmane Drame into one of the top post players in mid-major college basketball has been about decisions and commitment more so than refining natural ability...
Maybe someone can explain to you the difference between your phrase "one of the top Post Players in the country" and the phrase "one of the top post players in mid-major college basketball"
No wonder you get so excited by games against Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac -- you don't realize that there's a difference between the mid-major level and the major level.
Also, the article was written by Mike Anthony at the Courant so when you wrote The call him (I'm guessing you meant They call him) which would be the incorrect pronoun -- They is plural and since Mike Anthony is only one person the correct pronoun would have been He. Unless, of course, you meant The paper when you wrote The call him in which case it should have been The paper calls him...
Your inaccurate summaries and poor grammar help everyone see exactly what the value of a Fairfield education is.
