Because JJ doesnt execute plays, he just puts his head down and tries to score. You need team basketball and execution in those situations. Not to mention he is extremely turnover prone.

We really didn't have much on the offensive end the whole year. Remember in preseason, the tagline was "our strength is our length" -- tonight we lost the offensive board battle 15 to 4, Joey D mentioned how St. Peter's outmuscled us. All year we gave up tremendous numbers of foul shots. We got almost nothing out of our Top 100 HS recruit / Big East transfer. And our captain seemed to take major steps backwards. Combine that with our guard mediocrity, and you get a PIG loss.
Good riddance 2013-14. May we never see a year like this again.
That's right, the program we like to mock, the program that spends 3x less than us, the program that plays in a high school gym, the program that plays in front of an average of 600 fans, the program that pays its coach 3x less than our coach, just beat us three times and shut us out this year. Just call it the power of negative three. Yeehaw!!!
Your not reading what im writing. I never said he didnt have a good game, but we needed guys who can execute set plays and take care of the ball. JJ is not one of those guys, KJ is the teams PG.
JoeyD predicted next year will be another rough year and that we should be in the top 3 of the MAAC in two years. I am not sure I can take another year of this. Let's just hope the Fab 5 shows up on campus next year!!!
I think we can take alot from the last 10 games or so. KJ has really come into his own, get him a running mate and our backcourt will be pretty soild. Marcus will be an All MAAC player and hopefully Cj puts on 15 lbs this summer. Dou will be Dou, work on his footwork along with Malcolm.
Through the shit this season there were a few diamonds. Time to double down and buy low
Please name one diamond that was revealed this year?!
Stags10 you must be an eternal optimist because NOTHING went right this year. There is not a single aspect of this program that Iam exciting to see next year.
This year has really set back my passion for the team and faith in the University.
Just got back from the game. My observations were that Mo, Marcus and KJ played like crap. Justin sitting almost the entire second half was a joke. In this game, they couldn't guard him. The next defensive rebound Mo gets will be his first. Marcus scored 5 points in the first 90 seconds and nothing until about 1 minute in regulation. KJ was creating nothing. Sidney is tied way too much to his leading men and will play them no matter how bad they are playing. You are not going to win games when your coach can't see the forest for the trees. Absolutely horrible use of personnel. Justin, Stevie J and Coleman played well. Amadou played fair. Too bad Doug Chappell never saw the floor. We should have won this game in regulation............./;
