So the Knicks' new D League team will play at the Westchester County Center, which Wikipedia says holds 5,000. Has the MAAC ever held its tournament there? If not, anyone know why? It seems if the current Springfield location attracted 2,000 per game, surely WCC could be host. Any thoughts?
Ancient and Very limited PARKING. Not the right place for the MAAC. But geographically, the right location. It always baffled me how Westchester County never buiilt a first class arena. Could do it at Yonkers Raceway and tie events into Empire City casino.
I feel that alternating the MAAC Tourney between Monmouth's arena and the WBA is the perfect solution. The Tourney needs to be in the NYC Metro area, easily accessible by car and or train for Day trippers.
The MAAC Council of Presidents also expressed an interest in rotating the championship in future bid cycles to MAAC home cities after examining how the return to the TUC is reviewed by the league’s membership...
The MAAC Tournament will be in Albany for the next three years (2015-17) but hopefully the MAAC presidents will find a better solution as Springfield clearly didn't work.

You can't trust anything to the MAAC Presidents. It was this august group who extended Ensor's contract.

It's a shame the tourney is not back in Bport. Who wouldn't commute to games there? The TUC is Siena or bust, but the MAAC would draw well at AHY if they properly promoted the event.

Agree with StagThomas. After all, it is the METRO Atlantic conference. It needs to be in the Metro area. The final game between Iona and Manhattan would have been a heavily attended event because of the historical local rivalry. Those photos of the post game were very sad.
