Obviously I was just throwing out a figure without really understanding the entire situation there, so maybe I am embelishing what he might get a bit. However I don't think Pearl would even bring him in if he didn't think he could continue to do what he has always done, and that is to score a lot of points. And I see that in the list you have linked here that the Tigers are actually losing a player who averaged 19 PPG. Therefore there is a vacuum that has to be filled by someone else I would think. And again, Pearl is a high octane coach who believes in fast play and a lot of scoring. So I continue to believe that Mason will flourish with his new team.

With Mason's transfer and with many of last year's top ppg players in the MAAC being seniors; Chavaughn Lewis from Marist and A.J. English from Iona will be the top retuning ppg scorers in the MAAC. Lewis will be playing for his 3rd head coach next year at Marist which seldom turns out to be a good situation in a college career. 1. Mason, Antoine-NIA 25.6 2. Baron, Billy-CAN 24.1 3. '76, i agree. What a disaster at Marist. Seems they are always trying to find the "right guy" for their program and establish some consistency in the head basketball coaching position. It seems to me the "Right guy" should be able to be successful in Poughkeepsie. The schools academic profile continues to grow, they have a beautiful campus and a very adequate on campus arena. This one is hard to understand.
