From Elsberry's blog. Newsom has been an assistant for many years, but I don't think he was ever a head coach. He has been in the running for Head coaching position in the past, but never got an offer. I think Colgate or Brown were 2 of the latest opportunitues. The prior RI College coach was just hired by Maine. So this is a good Division III program.
