Kendra Landy #20: www.trbimg.com/img-54deb464/turbine/hc-pictures-girls-basketball-hand-at-mercy-201-001/500/500x378Also from CT NOW last month: But the Capital Prep girls basketball team, No. 1 in the Courant's rankings, had to wait until 7 p.m. for its long-awaited date with No. 2 Mercy at the University of Hartford. The Trailblazers did not disappoint the 1,855 fans gathered at Chase Arena for the Martin Luther King Day game, dominating Mercy, 88-48..... Mercy's senior point guard Kendra Landy has seen limited time lately with a back injury and hasn't practiced much. "She tweaked it late in the game, but it didn't matter, the game was over," he said. "She gutted it out. She did a nice job.".... www.ctnow.com/sports/hc-hs-cap-prep-mercy-girls-bb-0120-20150119,0,3420359.story

Hopefully, Landry will recover nicely. Casey Foley is the other guard coming in for next season. Both are multiple sport athletes. Read that Landry is a big time soccer player and Foley plays volleyball and softball.
