Ugh, turning into a very disappointing season...expectations were high coming into the season.

What did von Arx say about a National Championship?

Guys, I am very disappointed too, but remember these are 1 goal loses.
I am hoping for a strong finish.
We have a solid team.
Stating the obvious, but we need to figure out how to score 11-12 goals a game instead of 8-9!

Maybe the AD was referring to our lacrosse program instead of our basketball team when referencing all the close losses?

What did von Arx say about a National Championship? I believe it is Father Von Arx. How about a little more class and respect, especially if you are a graduate!

'68 - there was nothing disrespectful nor classless about what I said and how I said it. Referring to "FVA" as "von Arx" instead of "Father von Arx", in the context of an informal message/chat board, is perfectly acceptable. Father von Arx (and it is "von" instead of "Von") made a bold statement about our (yes "our" - I'm a grad) Lax program. I think his bravado about the program is awfully premature considering the start to this season coupled with the failure to make the NCAAs in the last 7 or so years. D-1 Lacrosse has grown to just 69 teams this year. Many of them don't allot the full number of scholarships that the NCAA allows - it's haves vs. have nots. I think our program had been average at best considering that. Yes we can compete - defeating #1 Denver two years ago proves that, but not on a consistent basis (hence no NCAA appearances).

I give his chair throwing habit a sign of perhaps some mental problems . IU probably did also as he ended up at that splendid University, Baylor.

Remember I am probably much your senior. However I do believe that Bobby might have been a good coach in terms of wins but a jerk after all as a person. Actually I am really not a type A guy, really quite the opposite even if I am a New Englander whose has spent over 45 years in Upstate NY.
