Looking good as the Stags (6-4)(1-0) score 3 goals in the third quarter and are up 8-4 against UMass (3-6)(1-1) with 10 minutes left in the game.

Can't get any better than a couple of 2-0 teams squaring off for 1st place. Our schedule was setup nice.
My guess is that we still have to win the CAA Tournament to get the NCAA Bid. But if we win our last 3 regular season games plus a game in the CAA Tourney, that could put us on the NCAA Bubble.

Run the table at home the next three games ( I know Towson is very solid and not to be taken for granted and Hoftstra has talent) in much better April weather for lacrosse. We then can host the CAA tourney in our beautiful new stadium for two more exciting games with enthusiastic crowds and good weather. Real opportunity for that NCAA bid.
Should be some fun and exciting times for stags lax this month!

JoeStag - I would guess that you are right that we would be in the conversation for an at large bid if we don't win the tourney. The big challenge is our strength of schedule is nothing to write home about and especially after the last few years of missing out on the at large I wouldn't bank on it. JUST WIN THE TOURNAMENT!

HUGE game this weekend!!! Alumni reception before starting at 1pm in the tent in front of stadium.
Would be great to win out and host the CAA tourney! Very, very hard to get an "at large" these days and I would argue our league is having an off year so that does not help.
Come out Saturday! Will be great.
