Stags (8-5)(3-1) need to beat Hofstra (5-8)(2-2)on Friday night in Rafferty Stadium and hope Towson (9-4)(3-1) loses at Drexel (6-7)(2-2) next Saturday.
CAA Lacrosse Standings (4/18/15): Towson 3-1, 9-4 Fairfield 3-1, 8-5 Drexel 2-2, 6-7 Hofstra 2-2, 5-8 Massachusetts 2-2, 4-8 Delaware 0-4, 4-10

Stags dominated then almost gave it away. They are dealing with too many long stretches without scoring.
Hofstra win still keeps alive a CAA tourney in Rafferty, which would be incredible!

What happens if both FU and Towson win next week? Would they be co-champs with towson getting the 1 seed and home field?

Hofstra will be the first Friday night game under the lights, hopefully the students show up in force and create a rowdy atmosphere...
According to the box score stats, "attendance" at Rafferty Stadium has averaged 1,308 fans (including 2,365 at the stadium opener) in the 6 home games this season while last season the team averaged 546 fans in the 7 home games played at Alumni Field. This season's numbers doesn't included the students in lawn chairs up by the townhouses.

Think everyone is having a great time at Rafferty and the crowds will keep growing.. The one complaint I have heard is that the children tickets aren't discounted at all.

At the 3,500 seat Rafferty Stadium, General Admission tickets for Men's Lacrosse are all $10.00 and $5.00 for Stag Women's Lacrosse with no discounts for Seniors or Children. Stag Basketball games at the WBA and Alumni Hall have discounted tickets for Seniors and Children available as do Stag Soccer games at Lessing Field. Making Rafferty Stadium more family friendly for area alumni and the local community needs to have a discount. Shortsighted vision and a lack of planning especially when the place is less than 2/3 filled with often 2,000 or more empty seats. Loyola, Towson, Georgetown, Duke and Notre Dame all have discounted lacrosse tickets available but not Fairfield University. Why? Hopefully those in charge at the University will make the change in ticket prices for next season considering that even the other "Fairfield" school, Sacred Heart charges $10.00 for SHU lacrosse games but has $5.00 Senior/Youth tickets.
However, Friday's game will have the last pre-game Tailgate Tent ($35.00 including a game day ticket):
Join the Stags for a pre-game tailgate all season long. All you can eat (buffet style food) plus 2 drink tickets (beer, wine & soda) for 1-hour prior to each men's lacrosse game (prior to first game on doubleheader days). The heated tent is located just outside Rafferty Stadium. This purchase includes admission into the tent and a game ticket

Children and senior discounts are a must. It almost makes sense to get a babysitter for parents at that rate and do you think parents are gaming to go to a game when they get a sitter?
Attendance will increase if they make more family friendly.
