The Stags played Manhattan from the MAAC this past season but maybe Marist should be on the schedule next season? However, the Stags were nationally ranked during the 2015 season at #19 and #20 and did play three Top 20 teams in #6 Yale (L-OT), #16 Towson (L) and #20 Villanova (W). The May 5, 2015 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Division 1 RPI Ranking has Marist at #21 and the Stags at #34. www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse-men/d1/ncaa-mens-lacrosse-rpi

A strange and disappointing season. We have the talent and the facilities. Stags lacrosse now needs to start making statements on the field and in the postseason!

USILA Coaches Poll has Marist at #20 and the Stags not in the Top 20 but receiving votes. www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse-men/d1/usila-coachesInside Lacrosse has Marist at #19 and the Stags not in the Top 20 nor receiving any votes www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse-men/d1/inside-lacrosseWith all the money invested in Rafferty Stadium and all the hype about challenging for a NCAA Lacrosse Championship these results are disappointing, especially being ranked below MAAC Marist and out of the Top 20. No spin from GD will change that.

One goal losses were painful this season and we ended the season with an upset loss in the tournament. On our home field!! That's tough. If only...
