Go Frager & Co.! He is a great coach and I hope he can finally knock off Marist. The ladies deserve to be champs. I wish their basketball facility was #1 in the MAAC too.

"Being picked first means that, on paper, people think we have a chance to be really good,” Coach Frager said. “We believe we have a chance to be really good. We also realize that we have deficiencies that we need to improve upon in order to become the best team we can be. Our approach will not change based on the preseason poll. We have been consistently good over the years because we have tried to stress details and process. This is going to be an extremely competitive season and there are several teams with a chance to win our conference.” MAAC Coaches Poll: 1 - Fairfield2 - Marist 3 - Quinnipiac 4 - Iona 5 - Siena 6 - Canisius 7 - Manhattan 7 - St. Peter's 9 - Monmouth 10 - Niagara 11 - Rider Individually, Casey Smith was chosen to the Preseason All-MAAC First Team while Kristin Schatzlein was named to the conference’s Second Team..... “I am pleased for Casey and Schatz that they were selected to the first and second teams,” Coach Frager said. “It’s always nice to receive that type of recognition.
