Fairfield's women's basketball head coach is Joe Frager, but the initial recruitment process mainly went through associate coach Laura Scinto, while Brittany MacFarlane, who grew up playing for Hamilton Transway, had a hand in the situation, too.
The Stags currently have a fairly young roster featuring just two seniors. “It's kind of a group I know I would have a couple of years to play with, which is another part of the appeal,” she said. As for first-year playing time next fall, the coaches have expressed they envision their new recruit making an impact right away.
