Nothing yet on the Stag website or the Schedule page but the Stags' 7:00 pm game at Loyola on Wednesday will have a FREE video webcast through the Patriot League Network (PLN): campusinsiders.com/network/patriot_league/live/5614b0f0e4b00fdd619b4c1aAlso Game Tracker will be available through the Loyola website: www.loyolagreyhounds.com/gametracker/launch/gt_wbaskbl.html?event=1464163&school=locl&sport=wbaskbl&camefrom=&startschool=&Now that the season has started, it would be nice for the fans if the Stag website would finally included ALL the Away game video webcasts that are available for both Stag Women's Basketball and Stag Men's Basketball. It is not that hard to do especially for the MAAC Away games. All it takes is someone to do it and someone to take the responsibility to see that it is done. Having ALL the video information for all the Stag teams current and available should be an important part of the "new" Stag website but it still hasn't happened yet.

“We’ve got to try and make our inside play an advantage for us,” Head Coach Joe Frager said. “We try and establish the inside game as much as we can but I love that we had that balance. We were hitting that mid-range shot tonight. That’s really important for us.”....
Fairfield controlled the ball dishing out 13 assists with just six turnovers (two in the second half).
“That’s what we said at shoot around today, nothing tentative on either side of the floor,” Coach Frager said. “We need to go at them and be aggressive.”
The Stags move to 2-0 for the ninth time in program history and the fifth time in the last seven seasons.

Give these gals a new building!

A new building won't be built on campus anytime soon or even in the distant future. Just renovate Alumni Hall!
Joe Frager, the team, the basketball program, the fans and the University community deserve better. Joe Frager won a NCAA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship at SCSU and that 2,800 seat D-2 building was in a better condition than Alumni Hall, the worst home court in the MAAC.
Disgraceful and embarrassing that nothing is being done with AH especially when a capital campaign is currently underway at Fairfield University.

Coach Frager's success is all that more remarkable considering the state of the facilities. I do hope the University can find the funds to renovate Alumni Hall. The whole Fairfield U/Prep community would benefit!

Alumni Hall, the home court of Stag Women's Basketball, should be a recruiting tool for Joe Frager and his staff and it most certainly is not. The "bad high school gym" that it is and being "not up to Division 1 standards" makes AH a hindrance to recruiting, especially when the University states "Our facilities say a lot about what is important to us. Attractive, modernized facilities are essential to the viability of Fairfield Athletics".
The long overdue renovation of Alumni Hall should be a stated goal of the current capital campaign along with a design plan and funding budget in place. If not now then when?
