The Stags (4-6)(0-2) will close out their non-conference slate when they host Harvard (4-5) for the first time since 2007 on Monday at 5pm at Alumni Hall. The game will be the eighth home contest for the Stags already this season. Fairfield will play in 16 home games which will be the most in program history.
THE HARVARD SCOUTING REPORT: The Crimson are coming into the game on a three game losing streak and a 4-5 overall record. Harvard has not played a game since Dec. 8, after an 85-81 loss to Eastern Michigan. The Stags will have their hands filled along the perimeter, as Harvard comes in as one of the most productive 3-point shooting teams in the country. The Crimson have made 6.7 long range shots per game, the 79th most in the country. Harvard netted 12 3-pointers in their latest loss to Eastern Michigan. The Crimson have a very balanced offensive attack with five players averaging seven or more points. AnnMarie Healy leads the way with 13.9 points per game and ranks second with 5.2 boards. Their leading rebounder is Shilpa Tummala, as she is in the middle of a career season hauling down 6.9 boards. Last year, she averaged 2.9 rebounds.
