THE NIAGARA SCOUTING REPORT: The Purple Eagles come into the contest 2-10 on the season and fresh off a heartbreaking loss to Siena where the Saints ended the game on a 20-1 run to take the eight-point win. Only six players checked into the game against Siena, and those are the only six players to have played every game this season. After three games, Niagara lost their leading scorer Victoria Rampado who was a preseason All-MAAC First Team selection. On defense, the Purple Eagles allow teams to 45 percent from the floor and 39 percent from behind the arc. Those numbers translate to giving up 70.6 points per game. Sam Lapszynski is their leading scorer coming into the contest averaging 12.3 points per game. However, the Stags will probably focus on Kaylee Stroemple who had career nights against the Stags last season. In the three games against Fairfield, she shot 15-for-17 from the floor and 10 points per game. She averaged just 5.6 in MAAC games total.
