The Giants just named Ben McAdoo as their new head coach to replace Tom Coughlin. For those that do not know, Ben was an offensive line and tight ends coach on the 2001-2002 team that was eventually defunded Fr. Kelley. McAdoo was the offensive line and tight ends coach at Fairfield University for the 2002 season, in what would be the final season for the Fairfield football team.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_McAdoo

Ben McAdoo has never been a head coach at any level of football. The closest he ever came was after the 2002 season at Fairfield University when he was named assistant head coach — right before the program was disbanded.
“I guess technically he was the interim head coach for about 10 days,” recalled former Fairfield head coach Joe Bernard, who left that dying program at the time and now is the offensive coordinator at the University of Albany, in a phone interview with Newsday.......www.newsday.com/sports/football/giants/ben-mcadoo-officially-named-giants-new-head-coach-1.11326117?cmpid=Sports
