Defending MAAC champion #1 Quinnipiac (24-7) plays #2 Iona (22-11) for the MAAC Women's Basketball Championship this afternoon at 2:30 pm on ESPNU.
During the regular season Iona lost at Quinnipiac 61-62 and lost to them 53-69 at home. If Quinnipiac loses this afternoon they then would get the automatic WNIT bid as the MAAC Regular Season champion.

The Iona Men beat Monmouth tonight so both Iona Basketball programs get the MAAC NCAA bid. The only other time that this has happened since 1984 was in 2003 when both Manhattan programs went to the NCAA Tournament.
