Not sure why or by whom but: The Nov. 28 volleyball match set to feature Fairfield University heading across town to Sacred Heart University has been cancelled, as announced today. The 2016 MAAC Champion Stags' season will continue with the ninth NCAA Championship appearance in program history. www.nmnathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=32500&ATCLID=211314390

SHU lost in their conference championship game on Sunday. I assume they didn't want to play a game a week later. FU probably wanted the game to help get ready for NCAAs.
Plus SHU already beat us 3-0 early in the year. No reason to play again.

I don't know who cancelled it …… Us, Them, or Both, but shying away from competition is not a good thing.

I was told by one of the volleyball players today (as she was selling me the winning 50/50 ticket) that SHU cancelled the game due to their losing their league championship game, and their season being over. This was my theory above
