Stag Women's Soccer will open up the 2017 campaign with the program's first-ever trip to the state of Hawaii, which highlights the 16 game slate. On August 18 the Stags will play the University of Hawaii and on August 20th Houston Baptist University in Waiphahu, O‘ahu, Hawaii “We look forward to yet another challenging non-conference schedule which begins with our extensive trip to Hawaii,” Head Coach Jim O'Brien said. “We are fortunate to take senior Katie Brady on a homecoming trip for her final season. The trip will prove to be a great way to incorporate our returning student-athletes with our incoming freshmen. We will then set our sights on positioning ourselves in the MAAC standings as we head to Disney World for the postseason.”Last season the Stags were (3-13-2)(2-6-2) and (1-4-2) at home but failed to qualify for the MAAC Women's Soccer Championship for the second year in a row. Stag Women's Soccer has been to the NCAA Tournament four times: 1999, 2006, 2008, 2011. 2017 Schedule:www.fairfieldstags.com/SportSelect.dbml?SPSID=810726&SPID=137810&DB_OEM_ID=32500&Q_SEASON=2017

The Women's Soccer game against Iona on Tuesday, September 19, will be the second annual Kids' Day Out, as the Stags will welcome the area's youths for the Wednesday morning game. Last season the Stags had their inaugural Kid's Day Out on Wednesday, October 5 against St. Peter's also at 11:00 am. Before the game, the kids had an opportunity to explore the campus on tours with several student-athletes and also had an autograph session with the team at the end of the match. The game ended in a double overtime 1-1 tie.
