The junior batted .600 over the team's five games a week ago, posting nine hits in 15 at-bats with six RBI. After going 4 for 4 against Hartford in the team's only non-conference game of the week, Hankins played helped the Stags sweep Rider University by picking up an RBI in both ends of the doubleheader. The next day, Hankins hit a game-tying solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning which sent the game into extra innings.
