"I thought Lauryn (Rhinehart) did a good job on the mound by keeping hitters off balance with changing speeds and eye levels throughout the game. She has been more and more consistent as the year has progressed which has made her more confident out there. The defense got us out of a couple situations that were really tough. Courtney (Hankins) always keeps a level head and stays consistent which is why she is successful. She did that today and really has done that all season."Bracket Game Match-up Date Time Winner's Bracket Game 1 #3 Siena (2) vs #6 Marist (7) May 9 11:00 AM Winner's Bracket Game 2 #4 Iona (2) vs #5 Manhattan (6) May 9 1:30 PM Winner's Bracket Game 3 #2 Fairfield (3) vs #6 Marist (1) May 10 9:00 AM Winner's Bracket Game 4 #1 Monmouth (3) vs #5 Manhattan (1) May 10 11:30 AM Elimination Bracket Game 5 #4 Iona vs #6 Marist May 10 2:00 PM Elimination Bracket Game 6 #3 Siena vs #5 Manhattan May 10 4:30 PM Winner's Bracket Game 7 #2 Fairfield vs #1 Monmouth May 11 11:00 AM Elimination Bracket Game 8 Game 5 Winner vs Game 6 Winner May 11 1:30 PM Elimination Bracket Game 9 Game 7 Loser vs Game 8 Winner May 11 4:00 PM Winner's Bracket - Championship Game 10* Game 7 Winner vs Game 9 Winner May 12 12:00 PM

Nice decision by the Coach to pitch the Frosh , Lauryn Rhinehart, In the tourney opener against weaker competition. It was risky, but it worked.
We now got Detinnee Pallotto Pitching against top seed Monmouth in the 2nd round. Pallotto took us the the NCAA Tourney last year and she pitched great.

Pallotto is hurt. She was unable to finish last week's game at Canisius and looks like she is not even suited up today.
Good sign to see early hits against Riley. Need to be able to capitalize.

Great 6 and 1/2 innings by the Stags.... clutch hitting, good fielding, and running the bases to manufacture runs. I could not see the bottom of the 7th as I had a Golf Tourney. Disappointing results. Still have a chance. Just have to win them all.

Marist 5-3 at the top of the 5th. Stags with 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th.

Wow.... Stags rally for 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th and beat Marist 6-5. Ironically, I think the Fairfield player missed home plate, and Marist did not see it.
Stags have to win 2 vs Monmouth
