Already looking forward to the Red/White scrimmage in October.
An uplifting story of a kid who has had to work for what he has achieved.
Keep working hard and the sky is the limit with or without basketball.
Welcome Jason, your future is certainly bright.

Named First Team All Metro by the Baltimore Sun. This includes all schools. He had already been named 1st team MIAA and Baltimore Catholic league, as well as the BCL's most improved player. Averaged 15.6 pts., 7.3 rebounds and 2 blocks with 22 double-doubles.

I think what's really interesting here is that Jason was voted as the "most improved player" in the state, especially since he was a fall commit to the Stags who had yet to play out the season for which he received this award. Illustrates what I think are two positive things about him coming here, the first being that Jay Young and staff were able to identify a player who should have tremendous upside, and the second being that the kid himself is probably a hard worker who is willing to do all the things it takes to become better at his craft. With this as a foundation I believe that should bode well for his future as a collegiate player.
