There was a historic performance on Senior Night as the Stags tied a Lessing Field record with eight goals in an 8-1 dominating win over Iona before 348 fans. Not only does the senior class enjoy an historic win, but the Stags also clinched a spot in the MAAC Tournament and have guaranteed themselves a home game in the tournament. The Stags who will be making their first appearance in this tournament format since 2014. The Stags' only MAAC loss was against Quinnipiac (0-3) and a double OT tie at Rider (2-2). The last two regular season games are at Siena and at Monmouth.
"I think it speaks to the principles of our team which is putting the team first, working hard, and doing what is asked of you," Head Coach David Barrett, who won his 250th career game, said. "When the team succeeds, individually you also gain something. Hopefully that is the message they're carrying forward with them. I think they've done a really good job of getting on with things when they need to."

The 2019 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from November 3 to November 10. First round games will take place on Sunday, November 3 and are hosted by the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, followed by the semifinal games, which will be hosted by No. 1 and No. 2 seeds on Thursday, November 7. The championship game will kick off on Sunday, November 10 hosted by the highest remaining seed. Monmouth University looks to win its fourth consecutive MAAC title.
