Best of luck to Kevin who always seemed to give it his best. Great that today's college basketball environment gives players opportunities that may not have been available in years past.
Recent transfers affirm that SJ's recruiting level was not always up to D1 level.
SJ had talent as evident by Tyler and Jonathan playing in the G League. He just couldn't figure out how to maximize the talent. It is too bad as he was a caring person and great ambassador for the University.
Spot-on assessment. For example the best S.J. could do with the talent left for him by Cooley was to finish 3rd in the regular season during year one. Definitely not maximizing the talent he received.
I became frustrated with Syd's stubborness. He seemed to stay with a certain starting line-up forever despite letdown after letdown, and he really did not show an ability to adjust to in-game situations.
In contrast, I was very impressed with how Jay gave every player ample opportunities to prove they belonged.
