Dynamite, I think not. I would be surprised if any explosive would be used. More then likely a “ clamp shell” type excavator used for Building demolition will be used to reduce the structure piece by piece, load the debris on tractor trailers and haul away.

Hopefully they don’t haul everything away. Unfortunately, still waiting to hear about the relics and memorabilia that has been salvaged for us fans - of course, at a price.
The “F” is reversed .(facing wrong direction) It should face in the other direction. When you enter the front doors you should see the “F” facing you
This could be a real design flaw. Yes it should face you when you come in, but then it will be backwards on TV. They need to also move the cameras and broadcasters to the entry side. And then the team benches to face the repositioned cameras.

Stopped by the Fairfield Book Store in downtown Fairfield recently on my first return after moving to PA. I was looking for a new Fairfield U shirt. Noticed that a lot of the merchandise simply had that F with either the logo or word Stags underneath. If you wear one of those shirts outside the immediate area, who would know what that F stands for? Sorry, but that F as an icon has zero recognition outside the region, and maybe inside as well. I ended up not buying anything.
There are likely design specifications you are not considering. For example, one side of the building will probably connect to the rec plex. So the lockers rooms etc will need to be on that side of the building. And there may be a limit to the seating on that side, which makes the scorer's table and benches positioning to be practical on one side. There could be electrical and power infrastructure that has to be placed in a certain spot to allow for optimal media access or lead to ventilation needs.
I'm excited about this upgrade and I hope we all stay positive and don't start to nit pik things apart before we even experience it. There's probably some flaws to Webster Bank arena but all in all it was a pretty neat place to watch a basketball game or hockey game.

To be fair, would be people who what the deer logo on your shirt meant too? No one knows us outside of the northeast and its no flaw of the school its just how a small catholic northeast school is. You can say this about 99% of the schools at our level and even Iona to that point. You think people in California know who the Gaels are?
Sorry but in reality to think that the "Stag" logo means something outside of this region is a pipe dream...

I have no interest in the red F but only the Stag logo or Fairfield University. I don't care if my Fairfield wardrobe means anything to anyone else no matter where I am but it means something to me and it is not just a red F.

SOD, not nitpicking, but the logo should face the entrance.

Well of course in California the Gaels mean St. Mary's to most I'm sure. Actually this topic doesn't inspire me to comment too much, BUT my personal taste, at least from a perspective as to what should be put on the new floor would be what's in the depiction of the new arena that has been on display here for many months at the top of this board. Something similar on merchandise too I guess, although maybe space might be a problem, I don't know. But on the East Coast, especially near New York City, some mix up Fairfield and Fordham through the F, especially some older people who might be thinking back to a time a half-century ago when the Stags actually wore maroon road uniforms such as the Rams do now.
