Maybe the stags can finally pull off a win in the CAA this season as UMass has not been playing very good over the last three games. The stags need to stop their 2nd half defensive collapse from previous games. Go stags!

Stags 14-21 and fall to (2-8) and are still winless (0-7) in the CAA. Down by one at the half (7-8) and outscored 13-7 in the second half. "The plan for the week ahead is to enjoy every second that we have together, because this is the last week that this particular group will be together as a team," said Head Coach Andrew Baxter. "So we're going to enjoy it, have fun, prepare for Hofstra, and compete at the highest level we can on Friday night." Up next, Fairfield Men's Lacrosse closes out the 2021 campaign with Friday night visit to Hofstra. Opening faceoff on Long Island is slated for 7:30 p.m.

Another 2nd half collapse which has been the storyline over the last several games. You have to wonder about the abilities of the coaching staff when they cannot correct an ongoing issue? Andrew Baxter’s 2nd year has been a disaster IMO. The stags are not competitive at all.

What is the problem - coaching, game plan, talent, conditioning?
