I also noticed that there was not much getting done on rainy days. However, I sure as heck would not want to be climbing on steel that is wet! I thought that what looks like a slow down in steel construction is due to a lack of product(steel itself).
Naples, I feel like you the pace of constructing the CC had slowed significantly. Previously I was amazed how quickly the steel for the CC was being erected. I noticed the crawler crane on the site has not moved or been used for at least 10 working days as of yesterday Not sure if that is because steel is not available ( supply chain) or the project is just at a certain stage that requires additional work on the steel that has been erected previously. There are iron workers on site each day welding and installing corrugated metal so I am hopeful that the building is on schedule towards completion and not caught in any supply chain issues. The loyal stag fans on this board deserve to be viewing a stags home game during the 2022 season!
At the fundraiser, multiple people in power were still optimistic of a late November opening.
They also noted the price tag is up to $51 million and still being funded by contributions without debt.
With interest rates at historic lows, a weak dollar, and inflation high, we should be leveraged as much as possible on this. Keep fundraising on it obviously but make the money work.

Looks like they've got people working on Saturday also. Smart because you would want to get all that steel up ASAP. Get it buttoned up before the cold weather sets in. I really enjoy watching. This is like an adult pacifier.

If you notice much of the angst and negativity on this site has been diverted to a more positive approach once this camera became operative.. Feels good.
paulie, Thanks for the updated construction pictures of the ACC but an alumnus shouldn't have to be doing the updating that the University should be doing. How hard would it be to have those pictures and many more taken by the University's people and put on their social media websites. Thanks but sad that somebody in charge at the University still doesn't get it.
