Is it a fact that we'll be listed with the National Universities in US News in a couple of months.

I would expect a couple of things. My guess is Iona will be added to the list of Regional Universities not the list of National universities , a classification that FF recently earned. Secondly I would expect Iona to not be ranked very high in the regional university list.

Just checked and they are already listed as Iona University ranked at #55 in the regional rankings from last year's list. New rankings usually come out in a few weeks. Guess we'll see where FU lands.

From Iona:
"There are several advantageous reasons for the change. First, with the launch of the new NewYork Presbyterian Iona School of Health Sciences, Iona is adding a lot of graduate degree programs to our academic offerings. The change to University will continue to attract talented graduate students to these programs and will build a stronger brand in the healthcare space.
Related, Iona also hopes to build a strong brand internationally and create more global learning opportunities for our undergraduate students. As you might know, “college” is often used to describe high school programs abroad. “University” is used solely for post-secondary education. By becoming Iona University, we are making it easier for our faculty members to develop articulation agreements with schools outside of the United States."

Still baffles me that a world class medical facility would associate their name with Iona. Personally, I think it hurts the NYP Brand.
