I've been an advocate of the Robo Umps for years. Try this out. It proved I'll never make it to "the show" as a player OR an umpire. It's easy to judge when you're looking at a box on TV but surprisingly the live Umpires are 93% accurate. But if that 7% is a critical call in the bottom of the 9th or makes the difference in a game, why not have accuracy 100% of the time? Either way, if you're a baseball fan, this was fun. Give it a shot. nyti.ms/3SJsFaS

Interesting exercise. When I had to make the call, it seemed the movement of the pitch stopped right before it got to the batter. Seeing the actual pitch, it was obvious it was low — but when I was trying to make the call, the pitch didn’t seem low.
