#6 Stags shut out 0-2 by #3 Manhattan.
"It was an unfortunate start because they grabbed the first goal and the momentum in the first half," Head Coach Carl Rees said. "We made adjustments though and I thought we were the better team in the second half. I give credit to our guys for showing resilience. They did not stop and were fully committed tonight."
The Stags finished the season with an (8-10-1) overall record and a (4-5-1) mark in MAAC play.
Despite making their championships it was tough weekend for Stag Athletics:
Stag Men's Soccer lose 0-2 to Manhattan in Opening Round Stag Women's Soccer lose 1-3 to Niagara in Semifinal Round Stag Field Hockey lose 1-2 in OT to Rider in NEC Championship Game

Not the best of seasons for mens soccer as the stags finish under .500 and finish in 6th place in regular season. Perhaps next year the stags will compete at the top of the MAAC.
