Sold Out Rafferty looking great for PLL.
Had a great opening for the 6pm game showing the new FU entry sign at the main entrance for a few seconds then had a black out for 10 minutes that delayed the game.
Hope they repeat it for the 8:30 game.
6pm game tomorrow on ESPN 2

I would hope that we had recruits there. Other events to showcase the university should have been scheduled too.

Incredibly executed event for Fairfield U, the town, and southern CT. Impressed. I hope the PLL chooses Connecticut as a location and Fairfield U as home base. The event was a ton of fun and very family friendly!

If FF could ever put together a winning D1 lax program that would regularly make the NCAA tournament I think the program would be well supported by the Fairfield county community . Too bad the stags are a afterthought in the CAA.

Too bad the stags are a afterthought in the CAA. What is sickening is the tremendous success of the PLL weekend proves we are in a hot bed of LAX and FU has not capitalized on it. The PLL would be crazy to not include SW Connecticut as they add geographic affiliations. FU has proven this venue is perfect to support the PLL. There is lots of room to add seating at Rafferty as the league continues to grow. If the PLL is interested in a long term affiliation, FU would would be crazy not to pursue a deal with them. Just an estimate, but it appears a huge portion of that weekend crowd were kids under 12 and High School LAX fans/players. Rafferty provides an outstanding environment for an intimate game experience. You can expand it and still keep it intimate. And although scarce, how great were the campus entry and drone shots. (Love the revised main entry sign BTW) Lets not repeat the short sighted NY Giants mistake.

Thank you for having us 🙏 Amazing, while watching the broadcast, there were numerous ads on the field. It appears they were digitally placed for the broadcast only. Looking at the shots above, the only badging actually on the field was the PLL Logo on each end. The ads were not actually on the field.

FU should look to lock it down and grow with it. Don’t think we are there yet, but as the years progress improvements and expansion to can definitely come to Rafferty as the PPL/FU grow.

Looks like it was a good event that brought many visitors to campus. How have/did we capitalize on it to further anything FU related?
