Because there are so many MAAC teams and a limited number of weekends, not all MAAC schools play one another in conference play. I believe who plays who/doesn't play who is based on last year's conference results for some degree of fairness. We don't play Q or SPU in conference play this year. Niagara does not play Canisius in MAAC play this year, but they also play a non-conference game.

The Stags avenge Minnesota, defeating Quinnipiac 13-3. The game would have been mercy-ruled but for both teams agreeing to play nine innings no matter what. Shortstop Noah Lucier went 5-5 and made some nifty defensive plays. Mike Bechetti hit his 10th home run of the season, and Matt Bucciero drilled his first HR of the campaign.
I found out some stuff:
1) Griffin Watson is suffering from a hip injury. There is no timetable on his return. There are no concussion issues from the beanball in the CCSU game, thankfully.
2) Matt Venuto is dealing with back pain. No timetable on his return, either.
3) Jack Erbeck is healthy again and will likely see action versus Hartford this weekend. He got hit hard in the Manhattan loss and needs to shake off the rust.

"It's good to limit a good, quality team like Quinnipiac to three runs with a number of pitchers," Head Coach Bill Currier said. "It's good to get guys in with their regular positions and it was a good day for the Stags to have a lot of production out of a lot of people."322 fans at the game Box Scorefairfieldstags.com/sports/baseball/stats/2023/quinnipiac/boxscore/13251
