Let’s hope the stags can win this matchup today. Hampton is a very weak team! Go stags!

The Stags can't afford to lose to the last place CAA team (0-6) that is (0-8) in their last 8 games.
So far so good and not a problem. Stags 9-1 at the end of the First Period with a 14/3 shot advantage. Jack McKenna with 4 goals on 5 shots.
Stags 15-4 at the half with a 28/14 shot advantage.

The link to Lax TV has the coastal Carolina game being broadcast not the stags Vs Hampton. What’s up with that!

Stags 19-5 at the end of the Third Period with a 39/20 shot advantage. Stags 22-6 for the win with a 50/33 shot advantage and 36/18 SOG advantage against a very weak Hampton team (2-12)(0-7). The 22 goals scored is the best offensive total of the season and the 6 goals allowed is the second lowest (17-5 against SHU). However, Fairfield CAA Men's Lacrosse ends the season with yet another losing record at (5-9)(3-4) and no CAA Championship appearance again. "We woke up last Sunday morning knowing that we didn't have a chance to extend our season beyond today," said Head Coach Andrew Baxter. "But throughout the week, our team never lost focus on their effort and preparation and respecting the game and their opponent, and that carried right through the game today. I'm proud of the way we approached today's game and of the way that we executed for 60 minutes."307 fans at the game. Stags win 22-6. I believe the 22 goals is a Rafferty Stadium record. It’s clear Hampton must have joined the CAA because of football because their lax team cannot compete in the CAA.

The 22 goals scored today is the Men's Lacrosse new Rafferty Stadium record (3/5/2019, 21-15 win vs. Siena). 25 goals is the program record (4/15/1998, 25-6 win vs. Manhattan). The Rafferty Stadium Women's Lacrosse record is 21 goals (4/23/2022, 21-11 win vs. Canisius). Fairfield Men's Lacrosse @stagsmenslax 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧!Fairfield closes the campaign with a big dub over Hampton 22-6, with Riley Fitzsimmons getting the W in between the pipes on senior day! Paparozzi : 7 points (4 goals, 4 assists) McKenna: 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist) Fitzsimmons: 12 saves #WeAreStags #StagsCompete #CAALax 🤘🥍 Prior to today's game, Fairfield Men's Lacrosse recognized its senior class comprised of Riley Fitzsimmons, Shane Osborne, Max Paparozzi, Benjamin Rivera, Jon Wheat, Daniel Wilson, and co-captains Bryce Ford and Dean Ford. All eight seniors, along with graduate student Davis Allen, were in Saturday's starting lineup (with sophomore Jack McKenna rounding out Fairfield's first 10). "To be honest, I don't know what I would have done without these seniors," noted Baxter. "They committed to Fairfield before I was named the head coach four years ago. I'm fortunate that they bought in and believed in me from Day 1, and that their level of dedication has never wavered. They've been integral to everything that we're working to build here and will be a part of our success going forward."
