Fairfield University Women's Soccer senior Allie Kirby was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week following her three-point performance with a goal and an assist in Fairfield's unbeaten week. In a 2-0 win against Binghamton, she was able to one-time a shot to give the Stags a 2-0 lead in the 53rd minute of action. I was a journalist and editor for part of my career. I can promise you that even the leading publications make mistakes, even with multiple people proof reading it. It happens, to everyone, and often far worse than this. If you want to be helpful, might I suggest you email the AD office to point out the error so they can fix it?
