Stags beat Fordham 3-1 on a very hot day on the Rose Hill campus with help from a Ram red card (only 10 women playing for the rest of the match) at 32:29 of the first half. Fairfield goals by Dana Nadda, Maddy Theriault, and Alex Darcy."It was a good road win," Head Coach David Barrett said. "Obviously the red card changed the dynamic of the game but it was a good bounce back after a disappointing result on Thursday. Any win on the road is a good win. We still have things that we have to tidy up but finding a good result on the road against a decent opponent is always a good thing."Box Scorefairfieldstags.com/sports/womens-soccer/stats/2023/fordham/boxscore/13649The Stags (2-2-1) return home to face NEC Central Connecticut State (1-2-1) on Thursday at 6pm. Admission tickets are $7.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Youth.

I can understand how the Fordham goalie strayed beyond the box to get called with a red card.
The field is a mess. It's got more lines than I had in the disco in 1975😜(most falling flat BTW)
I found it very distracting watching the game.
At Rafferty, somehow they eliminate the Prep football lines but fortunately football doesn't overlap with the LAX season. I guess that's the issue, it's football season.
The Rams have no choice unless they want to play off campus. You can't build more land.
The same field is also used for Rams baseball and luckily the infield cutouts are avoided for football and soccer.
Guess I should temper my critiques of Lessing Field. At least you know what sport is being played on it.😂

Love beating A-10 teams in any sport
