Stags come away with a 0-0 tie but some really good scoring opportunities that they just couldn't convert.

The Stags, who were up a player for the final 39 minutes, kept the pressure on Syracuse but could not find the back of the net. "I feel like we created enough chances to win," Head Coach David Barrett said. "We're finding ways to create opportunities but we need to figure out opportunities to be more patient and be a little less direct. It was a good bounce back after the disappointing result on Thursday. It was better, we're moving in the right direction and we'll figure out some of the questions."

Almost all mid majors have free soccer admission. Don't understand why FU needs to charge

Tickets for Stag Men's & Women's Soccer home games are Adults $7.00 and Youth $5.00 and Students are FREE. Is the goal of the Athletic Department to get more of the local community and our area alumni to connect/reconnect with the University on campus and to support the various Fairfield University athletic programs in the Fall or to make some added income?
Stag Volleyball, Stag Field Hockey, Stag Baseball and Stag Softball all have FREE admission for home games. Stag Soccer, Stag Basketball and Stag Lacrosse home games all have admission charges.

At the very least, the officials need to be paid (game fee plus travel expenses), so you're losing money if you don't charge something.
Even high schools charge for these events, so why wouldn't a D-1 college also do so?

Why wouldn't you charge? - Can make money off food and drink. Sports is marketing expense - getting folks on campus is probably worth losing a small revenue stream
