Sophomore Maddy Theriault was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals and dishing out an assist in Fairfield's unbeaten week. The MAAC Preseason Player of the Year currently leads the conference with six goals and 14 total points.
"Maddy had one of her best all-around games on Saturday," Head Coach David Barrett said. "We hope this is the start of some momentum as we dig into MAAC play."
For the season, Theriault leads the MAAC and ranks 39th in the country with six goals while also placing 43rd in the nation with 14 total points. fairfieldstags.com/sports/womens-soccer/roster/maddy-theriault/6235
She also becomes the third different Stag to earn conference weekly honors this season.
MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

Theriault tallied three goals and dished out an assist in Fairfield's two games this week. She started the week by scoring the go-ahead score in the second half against Sacred Heart. In her first MAAC game of the season, Theriault had a hand in all three goals for the Stags with an assist and a pair of scores in the win over Mount St. Mary's.
