Fairfield University sophomore William Pierce MAAC Rookie of the Week for his performance in a pair of games last week. The Stags took on Harvard University and MAAC foe Rider University in which Pierce started both games.

William Pierce scored the two lone Fairfield goals against Harvard in their 4-2 loss on Sept. 19. His first goal came in the 48th minute to put Fairfield on the board. Pierce's second goal came in the 64th minute off a penalty kick to make it a 3-2 game.
