The stags look to rebound against the Jaspers tomorrow night after a disappointing loss at Quinnipiac on Sunday. FF is better then Manhattan in all of the key statistics, hitting %, blocks and digs. On paper the stags who have not lost a home MAAC contest this season should beat the Jaspers. However, Manhattan is playing very well of late with a five match win streak and they will be a competitive. FF is currently in second place in the MAAC behind QU( both teams have two losses) by only one percentage point. FF has played one less match so far then Quinnipiac with the Manhattan match bring the equalizer for both teams.

"Every started from our serve tonight," said Head Coach Nancy Somera. "Manhattan runs a very good offense, but our serve had them out of system and helped us stay organized defensively. That kept our block strong and improved our passing, which led to some good swings on our side of the net."The victory pulls the Stags (12-2) even with Quinnipiac (12-2) atop the conference standings. 136 fans at the game on a Wednesday evening. Was kinda shocked after looking at the box score this AM to see FF hit a very good .323 . Watching the match last night at Mahoney Arena it just did not seem as though FF was very sharp. Although the sweep of MC puts FF in a tie with Quinnipiac for first place. Travel partners Marist and Siena come to Connecticut to play FF and Quinnipiac on opposite days. FF starts out with Siena on Sat and Marist on Sunday. QU the opposite. Marist is a good team and if they play well has a chance to beat QU . The Marist match vs FF will be a tough win for the stags. Both teams should be able to beat Siena who is a poor team. Letβs hope the foxes do the stags a favor and beat QU in five sets on Saturday and in the process waste themselves! Go stags!
