Sydney has repeatably been stressing his point that this years team has a lot of leadership. Thats a good sign. In every game there is a point where the opposition makes a run and there is also a point where every team struggles. It's part of Basketball and every team goes thru it. Its how you handle thoise situations is what's important. In addition to this article Paxton has a Sit Down with Sydney audio. Here's the link: blog.ctnews.com/college/2012/11/06/sit-down-with-sydney-a-new-season/In the audio, Sydney says we are a young team....... I disagree. IMO we are very experienced at 4 positions and very young at 1 position (Center). IMO, our top 5 returning players are the best in the MAAC..... Talent, experience and past success. And from what I have seen, the combo of Mikulic and Amadou will do quite well fro freshman. Neither are projects and they offer 2 distinct skillsets. Since they will share the center position, I think its important to track their combioned stats to properly judge their effectiveness. Mikumdou for MAAC ROY.
