Fairfield University Women's Soccer forward Maddy Theriault was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Third Team, the association announced this week. Theriault just completed a successful sophomore season where she led the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with 10 goals while finishing second with 26 points. This is Theriault's first All-Region selection and the fifth student-athlete named to the squad under Head Coach David Barrett. fairfieldstags.com/sports/womens-soccer/roster/maddy-theriault/6235 "Our region is filled with amazing players from Power Five schools," Coach Barrett said. "Being selected on any team is quite an honor for Maddy, and other athletes from mid-majors like us."In her two-year career, Theriault has amassed 18 goals while picking up 48 points. She has helped her squad to 24 wins over that span, the most in a two-year span since the 2013-14 seasons. Theriault was one of just three MAAC student-athletes to be honored with a selection to the All-Region squads while joining members from Power Five schools including: Clemson, Notre Dame, Duke, North Carolina, and Florida State.
