Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Laura Field has announced the 16-game schedule for the upcoming 2024 campaign. fairfieldstags.com/sports/womens-lacrosse/schedule/2024 The five-time defending MAAC Champion Stags will open the season on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Holy Cross and begin the home slate on Wednesday, Feb. 14 with a visit from UConn on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. The top six teams in the MAAC will qualify for the 2024 MAAC Championship. The top two seeds will earn byes to the Semifinals, while the remaining four qualifiers compete in the First Round on April 28. The "Final Four" will be hosted by the top seed on May 3 and 5. Fairfield Women's Lacrosse went (14-5) last season with a (7-1) MAAC record. The Stags' fifth consecutive MAAC Championship was the program's eighth overall (2001, 2009, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023). Fairfield's 2023 regular season crown was the 14th in program history. Admission is FREE for all fans to all Fairfield Women's Lacrosse regular season home games this Spring.
