This women is a solid player. What is surprising to me is she does not appear to be a dominant looking player when she is on the court. Physically she has some height but she is not necessarily imposing. When she signed with FF someone posted she was a big time recruit and that is exactly correct. Stags are lucky to have her! Stags up!

Would not be surprised to see her make a huge leap in year 2.

Making a huge leap right now! almost every week. but i think she's going to be able to take her game to another level athletically. no doubt the coaches will know what to do when this season is over... hopefully a long time from now.

The eight weekly honors are the most by any MAAC student-athlete since Siena's Margot Hetzke earned the award nine times during the 2014-15 season. "Our league does an incredible job of scouting and defensive game planning, so the fact that Meg continues to find ways to score and impact our team is a testament to her work ethic and consistency," Head Coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis said. "She has also made huge strides defensively in her ability to rim protect and rebound which directly leads to our team's success. This is an incredible accomplishment.
What makes this phenomenal is Meg doesn't have to get uptight when she has a slow shooting night. She has 7 other players on the team who can pick her up.
Her style of play contributes to her performance. If she is having an off night from the outside, the next play she is scoring on a back cut from Kaety or Iza. Or Nellie picks up the slack with a key drive or a critical 3. Anyone is capable of making the big play on a given night.
I chuckle to myself, "Meg had a bad night, she only scored 16 with 8 rebounds."π
Outstanding player, supported by a very talented team.
Congrats to Meg and the entire team. Keep it going.

ROTW again. I cannot decide if Anderson has found the perfect level to display her talents by playing in the MAAC or she is just way to talented to be playing in the MAAC? What does the later statement Sat about her being a Stag next season?
