Unfortunately Channel 8 is no longer available through Optimum in the Bridgeport area.
Kind of ironic as that who is giving us the best coverage and Fairfield is not included in the Optimum package.
Waiting for the next shoe to drop when they don't want to pay the CBS and NBC affiliates and cut us off from all CT news coverage.
In any event great coverage, by New Haven Channel 8.

ROTW again. I cannot decide if Anderson has found the perfect level to display her talents by playing in the MAAC or she is just way to talented to be playing in the MAAC? What does the later statement Sat about her being a Stag next season? I think she has probably found the perfect spot to display her present talents. I think the questions going forward are more: how high is her ceiling and what does she need to work on? I have a good feeling this coach/staff is all over that and knows how to keep her (and everyone else) moving in the right direction. One other thing... Fairfield is also a great school, with a beautiful arena, and what appears to be as bright a future as any. Oh - and FWIW - it's also kicking around the edges of the AP25 and starting to get some national recognition. Not a bad spot for any player!

Fairfield University Women's Basketball freshman 'Road Runner' Meghan Andersen was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week for the ninth time this season. She led the squad with 17.5 points while shooting nearly 70 percent from the field in another 2-0 week for the Stags. The nine MAAC Rookie of the Week honors ties her for the third most in a season in conference history. "Meg was consistent and efficient all week long," Head Coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis said. "I challenged our team to get back to playing selfless, efficient basketball and as a team I thought we accomplished that and Meg was a prime example of what that looks like! I'm so proud of the work she does outside of the hours of practice to continue to get better each day and each week."
Andersen and the Stags are back in action when they travel to Lawrenceville, N.J., to face the Rider Broncs on Thursday at 7pm.
