Would be nice if the MAAC gave us a home game on ESPNU one of these days

Both teams had a pair of games flexed to ESPNU last season, including their matchup against one another on February 3 in Hamden. The Stags also had their February 10 game at Rider selected to ESPNU, and Bobcats had their February 17 contest at Siena chosen for ESPNU. The Connecticut rival institutions will be going head-to-head for the second time in less than a month. 2023-24 Home Attendance Averages#1 Quinnipiac Men's Basketball (19-5)(11-2 MAAC) - 997 M & T Bank Arena (3,570) #2 Fairfield Men's Basketball (15-9)(9-4 MAAC) - 2,341 Mahoney Arena (3,500) maacsports.com/standings.aspx?path=mbkb

I tweet at Travis our new commissioner constantly without acknowledgement. Schedule is a F*IN mess. Sundays during football, no stagger of games on Sundays too and no strategy when it comes to scheduling local games on week nights (i.e. shorter travel games like Canisius vs Niagara or Iona vs Manhattan) on a slower Monday or Tuesday night vs Sunday to hopefully get TV exposure. To have a brand new arena and not have it on ESPN in the 2 years of existence is a disgrace on the conference scheduling. This conference stinks and I want out for 2 reasons: 1) Unlike most other institutions we are investing in athletics and growing as an academic institution 2) If I am going to stay in the MAAC why stay while we continue to add NEC schools and now our total number next year is 13 teams. It just keeps getting worse! I don't love the CAA but atleast the Northern schools invest in basketball/athletics! Oh and 3) I cannot be in a conference with Sacred Heart. period.
