Doesn’t mean anything unless we succeed the rest of the season and in Atlantic City, but here’s the first seed line I’ve seen since we’ve been in first place in the MAAC.
And this one has us as the last 15th seed, not the top 16 seed.

Any press is good press, builds brand awareness and also gets players entering into the portal to think about Fairfield as a possible destination. Also glad to see us listed in the 15 seed slot!

Hey boys, lets enjoy the ride. If we get the number one seed, (BIG IF), its been 5 years since the number one seed won the MAAC tournament. Anything can happen in Atlantic City. Lets beat Marist Friday, that would be something to get excited about. . Statistically speaking our chances of beating a team we beat twice or lost two twice during the season is 50/50. Seriously, 50/50.
IMO this entire bracket discussion is pre-mature and absurd.
You first have to win the tournament. Never an easy task. Any team in the conference has a shot, especially the top 5.
One bad night and its over. A untimely turnover and it's over. An emotional outburst and technical foul and its over.
The MAAC will be a 16 or a first four no matter who wins it.
I say save this entire discussion till you're cutting down the nets. Let's put our energy into finishing the season strong.
This board is hilarious. We are willing to make claims and predictions about recruits based on YouTube highlight videos and make harsh judgements about preseason predictions before any games are played, but god forbid we dare to envision what our seeding could be in the NCAA tournament after a season's worth of proof that we are one of the best teams in the MAAC! We haven't seen Fairfield's name in an ESPN bracketology in what...8 years? Allow yourselves some joy today. We've earned it.

Been disappointed too many times in 50 years about speculating cudda, shudda, wooda.
Absolutely celebrate the season to date. That's the joy to me.
Personally, been left at the alter too many times to speculate about what may not happen.
I enjoy the victories one at a time this year because there has been to many years of disappointments for this fan. No future projections for me about tournament results or absurd NCAA tournament seeding projections . My focus is simple , go to POK watch the stags compete Vs the Red Foxes . Go Stags!

Its funny, I have felt since the beginning of this year that we not only had a tournament team, but a team that might be capable of winning a game in the tournament. But I lived through having such a team in 1997 and having my hopes dashed when Shane Miller hurt his back, and Bowman went down with his ankle. Ditto for 2011 when Needham suffered a season ending ankle injury. So my view of things has changed, I no longer project the future, I want to take it one day at a time and try to enjoy the moment rather than forecast what might be.
While this season is special, it could have been really special if Leach, Seck, Fields, Goodine, Yetna, Rogan were able to play a full season. We scored 50 points in a half against URI without Leach, Seck, Fields and Yetna. Could we have won that game at full strength? How about Queens and Drexel? I suggest we win both games at full strength. With those wins we would have been a 14 or 15 seed and capable of advancing. We will have a tougher task because of unforeseen injuries. Still possible, but not as likely as it was before the 0-6 start.
I am enjoying every game, and while I don't always travel to away games I have been to nearly every away game this season because I feel this is the best team we have had in at least 13 years if not longer. I want to enjoy the run. I think 20 years ago I would have been one of the guys looking at the brackets, right now I am one of the old guys that wants to enjoy the ride.
PS-> I'm all good with anyone who wants to look at the brackets Have at it. Fairfield UConn as predicted by some would be a match-up I would both love and hate.
Fully enjoying this season and the hope-casting. This is the kind of season we should have nearly every year— a top five team with a legit chance of winning the tournament.
