One again Drew Kingsley did a great job with the game notes. Informative and on time. As much as I complained about how bad sports information was before he arrived, I haven't done enough to complement the fine job he does every week So a shout out to Drew on a job well done.
Earlier this week someone commented on what a great job Zach was doing, and they too are right. In my opinion the athletic department has seriously upgraded the talent level at many positions. I also feel that Joe and Cam in the Ticket office and Brett Burchette have been great to work with. For years Fairfield struggled with lack of staff, and lack of talent on the staff, I think someone needs to get credit for building a very solid team to support the athletic program.

I thought we played fine in the first half. You can’t always shoot 3’s at 50% and Marist is a good defensive team. Where I think we are playing well is defensively and pushing the ball in transition. Just from the naked eye we aren’t playing great and IMO still look better than Marist.

It was obvious the strategy had to be penetration instead of three chucking. Lots to work on but first place may have disappeared for good. If this loss fires them up it was worthwhile. They looked terrible
