Not really relevant to the salary level of MAAC coaches. But I found the bonus opportunities and additional benefits that Kelsey has available at Louisville interesting.
Louisville is fortunate the ACC did well in this year’s NCAAT. All those units help to cover the $4.8 million they’re paying for the head coach position.

Here’s some names interviewing for the Canisius coaching position. Possibly others besides those mentioned in the tweet have also interviewed. Jim Christian last was head coach at BC from 2014-2021.
The head coach at Arkansas was hired to be the head coach at Southern Cal. One of the candidates for the Arkansas job is the head coach of the Arkansas-Little Rock team we beat in the first round of the CBI. If I was on the Arkansas hiring committee, I’d ask Walker how they managed to lose to a Fairfield team which didn’t have three of their normal rotation guys in Daytona Beach.
He definitely is good, extremely strong relationships with his players. He hasn't left because he makes $500K+ and has a chance at the head job once Hurley leaves. He would only bail on the Huskies if a really serious offer came knocking... one that would warrant leaving the #1 program in college basketball.

Darryl Walker and Coach Cal... talk about casting a wide net!
