Wait, Chicago State is in this tournament? They were 12-18 this year. I guess nobody else wanted to play in it. As much as I enjoy watching the Stags, I'll pass on Flosports.
It look like the game may be on something called Flohoops. Is that another subscription service?
If we go to the CAA, its the platform you'll be watching all streamed games on.
The Drexel tournament was on this platform earlier in the season. I subscribed for the month then cancelled. Once you know where, you can easily cancel online but it is not obvious.
If we ever wind up here, you'll be begging for ESPN+

All of the games in the CBI tournament are played in Daytona, Florida.
What is the CBI? The CBI is a postseason tournament for teams not picked in the NCAA tournament or the NIT that are also willing to pay a $27,500 entry fee to participate. It's operated by The Gazelle Group, which runs a handful of basketball events: the Barstool Sports Invitational, Empire Classic, Gotham Classic, Legends Classic and Tribute Classic. Teams competed on home courts before 2020. Now all games are staged at the Ocean Center in Daytona. Last year, the CBI introduced NIL funding of $40,000 to be distributed in the following manner: $25,000 to the champion, $10,000 to the runner-up, and $2,500 to each semifinalist.
Yeah, no thanks. 'Twas a Great season but a gut punch in the end.
See you all for 24-25!
Interesting take. Fields and Yetna and the rest of the team want to keep playing. If we win two games, the semifinals and finals are shown on ESPN2. Possibly national exposure for the school and our style of play under Casey —— and as an alumnus, your support is ignore these games.

Yeah, agreed. Stags have not played a post season game since 2018. It was a great year with a very tough end. I'd like to be able to watch Caleb and this team at least one more time.
Is this a positive return for FU athletics or just a feel good exercise?
If this does not deliver a positive financial return it is a waste of precious recruiting time and money.
And the platform (FloSports) is terrible IMO.
But I guess its a done deal and we are suckered into a second rate tournament again which "guarantees" money only to the promoters .
Do we get a memorable George Mason game? That did turn out to be a game talked about years after.
Agree, FloSports is an awful streaming service. Even though it's a consolation prize, the NIT still has some value and a little cache. These C tournaments are equivalent to paying for a participation trophy.
Well, if I am reading correctly, the players have a shot at making some money? If they want to play, FU should be supportive. They gave us a great season. Whatever they want to do and I will be fully supportive!

I have no problems with playing in this tournament. Little Rock is a good team; so is UC San Diego. Quinnipiac or Seattle after that. Maybe Fairfield can finish the season with a win. If the players want to play, then play.
