This weekend will impact the MAAC Standings.
Niagara and Rider tied for first both 11-1 play a 3 game series while the Stags (10-2) face off against Siena (4-8).
The door is open. Stags need to capitalize and pick up ground.
First pitch at Cook field is 3 PM and what looks like a cool but not uncomfortable day.

Stags take the series on a walk-off passed ball in the bottom of the 10th. Go for the sweep at 1 PM Sunday.
Stags in a 3 way tie for first as Niagara takes game 2 with Rider-all locked at 12-2.
Lots of FU "Royalty" at the Cook Field Dedication.

Here are the current standings:
Fairfield 13-2, 23-20 Niagara 13-2, 26-12 Rider 12-3, 21-18 Quinnipiac 7-8, 16-23 Canisius 7-8, 13-23 Mount St. Mary's 7-8, 13-28 Marist 8-10, 15-27 Manhattan 7-11, 14-27 Iona 5-13, 10-30 St. Peter's 4-11, 10-32 Siena 4-11, 8-32
The Stags took care of business against the three bottom feeders, going 9-0. The schedule gets tougher now with three at Marist, three at Niagara and three at home vs. Quinnipiac. Three 2-1 weekends will likely put the Stags in position for a first-round bye. Time to see what Fairfield is made of.
